Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Merzouga desert
6 days Fes to Marrakech desert trip departure: Our private Morocco tour starts traveling to Ifrane, which is a beautiful mountain village, called often Switzerland of Morocco. We will stop near the cedar forest in the middle Atlas Mountains where you can watch monkeys enjoying their freedom. We continue our trip to Azrou a Berber village in the largest cedar forest in Morocco. Then we visit the city of Midelt famous for its minerals and cool weather in summertime. We’ll travel along Ziz Valley, then we visit Erfoud and its fossils products. In Rissani we can visit local souk and have Berber pizza. Later afternoon we arrived to the Merzouga desert and we stayed that night in a desert hotel.
Day 2: Merzouga desert 4×4 tour and camel trekking
Today we explore the Merzouga area by 4×4. We will visit village Khamlia where you can have the opportunity to listen to Gnawa music. Then we will enjoy the Sahara dunes and we make a circuit around Erg Chebbi. You will have a free program in the afternoon to enjoy the Sahara dunes on your own. You can reny quads, you can try sand-boarding or even sad-bath during summer months. We spend the night in a desert hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga desert tour + camel trekking
Today we explore the Erg Chebbi desert more deeply. We will visit nomad people. You will have a free program to enjoy sand-boarding from high dunes. In the evening we will enjoy traditional Berber food. Sahara music will be also part of it. We will spend the night again in desert tents in the middle of the Sahara desert.
Day 4: Merzouga desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Early morning we will watch the sunrise in the desert from the high dune and then we continue the camel trek to our hotel in Merzouga. After breakfast and shower, we continue our private Morocco tour towards Rissani and Erfoud where we can visit a fossil marble factory and shops. Then we pass Tinjdad, Tinghir and our next destination will be the Todra Gorge. It is a paradise for climbers and you will have free time to discover it by yourself. In the afternoon we continue to the Dades Gorges where we will have dinner and an overnight stay in the local riad/hotel.
Day 5: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Today we depart towards Marrakech visiting Ouarzazatte. Here we can visit movie studios and also the local kasbah. We continue our private Morocco tour to Ait Ben Haddou to visit its famous village and kasbah. Many famous movies have been filmed here. Then we continue driving through High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n Tichka mountain pass. After we reach Marrakech we will drop off you at your hotel and then we will explore Medina in Marrakech.
Day 6: Marrakech
Today our private Morocco tour continues by exploring Marrakech. Depending on your time we will visit interesting parts of Medina as the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadines tomb, Bahia Palace, and amazing Menara Gardens also Majorelle Gardens in the new part of the city called Gueliz. Here you can find many modern restaurants and coffees. Then we drive you to the airport.

Very exciting trip
This was my first time travelling to Morocco and the whole trip went very smoothly with the driver. As I was alone in the whole journey the driver helped me to take photos. At the same time, he also introduced me to the local speciality food, I like the local mint tea very much. He also introduced me to many local customs and tourist attractions in English.
Amazing experience
We had such an amazing time in Morroco. They managed everything, from the pick up at the ferry to our flight back. We spent 8 wonderful days, and everything was perfect.
