Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora (camel trekking):
2 days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora departure: We’ll meet you in Marrakech and drive to Ouarzazate through the dramatic Tizi n tichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciating the beauty of the landscape on twisted roads through the Berber villages. Arriving at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; the largest Kasbah in Morocco and now a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, housing many Glaoui family members. Lunch is by the Kasbah before continuing to Zagora where your camel awaits you. You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a turban (desert scarf) and guided by an experienced camel guide you’ll explore within the mysterious sea of sand. Here you’ll also spend your first night under the stars, if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent.
Day 2: Zagora Sahara – Marrakech:
After breakfast with the Bedouin family you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your hotel base. En-route you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Arriving late morning back in Zagora and after shower in the hotel guesthouse, we’ll leave for Ouarzazate and Marrakech, once again over the Tizi NTichka pass arriving in Marrakech in the evening. The tour ends at your accommodation.

Wonderful desert trip

Very exciting trip
This was my first time travelling to Morocco and the whole trip went very smoothly with the driver. As I was alone in the whole journey the driver helped me to take photos. At the same time, he also introduced me to the local speciality food, I like the local mint tea very much. He also introduced me to many local customs and tourist attractions in English.
Amazing experience
We had such an amazing time in Morroco. They managed everything, from the pick up at the ferry to our flight back. We spent 8 wonderful days, and everything was perfect. Schedule was changed accordingly to our needs and Omar is a great guy, always taken good care. I highly recommend him and this agency when traveling to Morroco.
